Why I love my Dodge Grand Caravan

Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth, Michigan, is a wonderful place to do business! My husband and I have been getting our vehicles from them since 2002. Every time we go in it has been easy and enjoyable. The staff in both the Sales and Service Departments are very polite and friendly and always efficient. As a wife and mother of two young boys, 3 ½ years and 5 months, these qualities are especially important to me and my busy schedule.

With a growing family, we found the Dodge Grand Caravan to be the perfect choice. As the lease on our 2005 Caravan just ended, we were excited to turn it in and lease a 2008 model. The safety ratings on the Caravan give me peace of mind when I am driving, especially with my boys in the van, and it also saves us money on insurance premiums. The power features on the Caravan are something I can’t imagine being without. On both vans we had the power door locks (with keyless entry) and power windows on the front windows and the rear vent windows. The Caravan’s greatest feature is the power sliding doors! I can’t tell you how many times I have my hands full with kids and/or kid-stuff, or groceries (you name it), and with the touch of a button, my doors are open for me! I never have to worry about opening the door with my hands full.

Another feature I can’t imagine living without is the Stow ‘n Go seating! While growing up, my parent’s had 1988 Dodge Caravan and a 1997 Plymouth Voyager. I remember that whenever they wanted to use the van for cargo space, they had to find somewhere to store the seats! With the Stow ‘n Go Seating, I just quickly and easily stow them in the floor; they never leave the van!

During a recent move to our new house, we were able to fit TONS of boxes in the van. I couldn’t believe it. Our kitchen had about a 6 foot by 8 foot area with boxes stacked at least 5 feet high. With the last row stowed and the two middle seats folded down, we were able to fit all but 2 medium-size boxes and the vacuum into the van in one load and still sit comfortably in the front seats!

Our new 2008 Grand Caravan has even more features than the 2005. Just to name a few of my favorite; the new sporty body style, the standard side curtain airbags, the factory installed observation mirror (so I can keep an eye on the kids), and the “YES essential” fabric that is stain resistance and designed for easy clean up!

I never thought I would be a “Mini-Van Mom”, but I am and I always will be. Even once my kids are grown; there are just too many features and conveniences for me to switch to any other vehicle. No other vehicle meets my needs better or more conveniently than the Dodge Grand Caravan. I could go on and on why I love my van but let’s just say it’s got everything you could ever want or need in a vehicle!
