For many of us enthusiasts, adding a new or gently used vehicle to the garage is just the beginning. We know that with just a few additions the newest member of the family fleet will look cooler, sound meaner and go faster – and make it a truly one of a kind Dream Machine.
One place where those dreams take shape is the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. Every year in early November the Las Vegas Convention Center fills with automakers and companies that build practically any automotive accessory you can imagine.
SEMA is one of Mopar’s favorite events. It’s the time we get to gather up all those crazy “what ifs” that get tossed out during lunches and after-work hangouts and make a few of them come to life. Such as last year’s show, where we rolled out the Jeep Wrangler Sand Trooper and the Dodge Charger Juiced (with a Viper V-10 under the hood!)
This year, we’ll have nearly 20 vehicles at SEMA that showcase the transformative powers of big wheels and tires, paint, engine upgrades and interior trim. We’ve already given you a slight hint at what’s to come this year.
The SEMA show is an industry trade event – it’s not open to the public. But stick with us here at the Mopar Blog and we’ll take you inside the show and give you access to all the amazing things Mopar can do for your car.
Join us here on Tuesday, Nov. 5, as we’ll broadcast the Mopar press conference at SEMA live on the Internet, beginning at 7:40 p.m. Eastern (4:40 p.m. Pacific). We’ll have the concepts and news that will fuel your dreams, and then follow it up with live interviews with some of the people who make these things happen.
