With almost all the area school districts and many companies closing for the expected snow and many cities declaring snow emergencies what will you do tomorrow?
The idea of a snow day is always exciting for kids but what to do while they are home is always a good topic of discussion. What better time than a snow day to catch up on family time, if you are lucky enough to get a snow day too :-)
Here are a few ideas to keep your energetic, excited to be home kids busy.
- Board games are a timeless, fun activity all kids LOVE!
- Get a jump on spring cleaning
- Read that book you haven't had time to really get into
- Cook your favorite pot of chili, soup or stew.
- Bake some homemade cookies
- Have a movie or TV marathon day!
Most importantly stay safe and enjoy the slow pace that a snow day brings to a normally busy day :-)
