Job Opening Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership has immediate opening for an experienced and CERTIFIED Mid-Level Service Technician. This position is responsible for performing vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. MUST HAVE STATE CERTIFICATION! Previous Chrysler experience preferred for this position.

Responsibilities include:
• Performs all work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or factory standards.
• Repairing or replacing all parts of a vehicle including wheels, axles, frames, defective ball joint suspensions and brake shoes; installing and repairing air conditioners and servicing components such as compressors, condensers, and controls; and testing electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure that they are working properly.
• Communicating directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Communicate with Parts Manager to obtain needed parts
• Inspecting and testing new vehicles for damage and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
• Examine vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Advise Manager if additional work is needed• Document all work performed as soon as job is completed
• Attend factory sponsored training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous wastes
• Ensure that vehicles are kept clean
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures & immediately report any and all accidents to Manager or Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification preferred
• State Certification REQUIRED
• Automotive Technician – Minimum 2 years previous experience on CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM vehicles
• Excellent driving record
• Self motivated with ability to perform quality work with efficiency
