The all new 2009 Kia Borrego has just earned itself a 5 star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Institute. This vehicle is already one of the most talked about SUV's of the year with strong hopes of becoming the MotorTrend SUV of the year. Now it has proven that it deserves that title with this great score.
As if this wasn't an already impressive accomplishment, the seven-passenger Borrego features standard anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes, Electronic Stability Control, a Traction Control System, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, a Brake Assist System, Electronic Brake Distribution, driver and front passenger airbags, driver and front passenger side airbags, side curtain airbags for all three rows and, on V-8 models, a driver's knee airbag.
